Which animation studio produced Disney’s 1998 animated film Mulan?

Disney’s 1998 animated film Mulan was produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation.

The film was made during the period often called the Disney Renaissance, when Walt Disney Feature Animation released a sequence of commercially and critically successful animated musicals. Mulan followed films such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King.

Walt Disney Feature Animation was the name used by Disney’s principal feature-animation division at the time. The division was later renamed Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2007. That later name is therefore associated with the studio’s modern identity, but it was not the production credit used for the 1998 film.

Mulan was directed by Tony Bancroft and Barry Cook and released theatrically by Walt Disney Pictures. It was Disney’s animated interpretation of the Chinese Ballad of Mulan rather than a direct historical biography.
