Bori Khan is the main Rouran antagonist in Disney’s 2020 live-action film Mulan.
The character is portrayed by Jason Scott Lee and leads the invading Rouran forces against Imperial China. Bori Khan replaces Shan Yu, the primary Hun villain in the 1998 animated film, so the two names belong to different Disney adaptations of the story.
The film also features Xianniang, a shapeshifting witch played by Gong Li. She is an important antagonist and ally to Bori Khan, but she is not the leader of the Rouran army. Distinguishing those two characters avoids one of the most common cast-and-character mix-ups surrounding the 2020 adaptation.
