Which ancient Egyptian character stars in Assassin's Creed Origins?
Answer
Bayek of Siwa
Answer
Bayek of Siwa
Bayek of Siwa is the ancient Egyptian protagonist of Assassin's Creed Origins.
Bayek is a Medjay, a protector and law-enforcement figure from Siwa. The game follows his investigation of a conspiracy affecting Egypt, while his personal story with Aya helps establish the origins of the Hidden Ones, the organization that later develops into the Assassin Brotherhood.
Origins is set during the final period of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, around the time of Cleopatra VII and Julius Caesar. Its open world includes the Nile Valley, Alexandria, Memphis, deserts, and other regions. Bayek's eagle, Senu, provides aerial reconnaissance and helps locate people, animals, and points of interest.
Aya is an essential character and a playable figure in parts of the story, but Bayek is the principal playable protagonist. Khemu is Bayek's son, while Senu is his eagle. These names belong to closely connected characters rather than alternate names for Bayek.
