Which actress plays Nancy Wheeler, Mike's older sister, in "Stranger Things"?

Natalia Dyer plays Nancy Wheeler, Mike's older sister, in "Stranger Things."

Dyer joined the series in its first season as Nancy, the oldest Wheeler daughter and an initially conventional high-school student whose life changes after her friend Barb Holland disappears. Nancy's investigation gradually draws her into the Upside Down and makes her one of Hawkins' most determined investigators.

The character is often remembered for her shifting relationships with Steve Harrington and Jonathan Byers, but her defining development is professional and personal: she discovers a talent for journalism, confronts sexism at the Hawkins Post, and repeatedly takes leadership during supernatural crises.

Dyer was born in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1995, and began acting as a child. Before "Stranger Things," she appeared in "Hannah Montana: The Movie" and independent films including "I Believe in Unicorns." A common mix-up is confusing Dyer with Maya Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley, or Grace Van Dien, who plays Chrissy Cunningham.
