Which actress played Rose Tyler?

Billie Piper played Rose Tyler in Doctor Who. Rose was introduced in the 2005 revival as the Doctor’s first regular companion, travelling initially with Christopher Eccleston’s Ninth Doctor and later with David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor.

Rose begins the series as a young shop assistant from London whose ordinary life changes after encountering the Doctor during an Auton attack. Her viewpoint helped introduce new viewers to Doctor Who’s time travel, aliens, and long history.

Piper left the regular cast at the end of the second series in “Doomsday,” when Rose became trapped in a parallel universe.
