Which actress played ADA Casey Novak?

ADA Casey Novak is played by Diane Neal in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Neal first appeared as Novak in season 5, episode 5, “Serendipity,” replacing Stephanie March’s character, Alexandra Cabot. Novak became one of SVU’s most prominent prosecutors, handling difficult sex-crime cases and frequently confronting the ethical tensions between courtroom procedure and victims’ needs.

The character’s original run lasted from seasons 5 through 9. In the season 9 finale, Novak is censured and suspended after violating Brady rules while prosecuting a case.
