Which actor voices Bayek of Siwa in Assassin's Creed Origins?

Abubakar Salim voices Bayek of Siwa in Assassin's Creed Origins.

Salim provides the English voice performance for Bayek, the Medjay protagonist of Assassin's Creed Origins. His performance covers Bayek's grief, humor, protective instincts, and growing commitment to the Hidden Ones. Bayek's voice is especially important because the game follows him across a broad journey through ancient Egypt, from personal loss to a larger political and ideological conflict.

Assassin's Creed Origins was released in 2017 and marked a major shift toward role-playing systems, including dialogue choices, equipment levels, and a large open world. Bayek's performance anchors those systems in a character whose relationships with Aya, Khemu, and the people of Egypt drive the narrative.

The actor is sometimes confused with other Assassin's Creed performers. Roger Craig Smith voices Ezio Auditore in several games, while Noah Watts voices Ratonhnhaké:ton in Assassin's Creed III. Michael Fassbender starred in the 2016 Assassin's Creed film, not Origins.
