Which actor voiced Sterling in Pixar’s Cars 3?

Nathan Fillion voiced Sterling in Pixar’s Cars 3.

Sterling is the wealthy owner of the Rust-eze racing team in Cars 3. He hires Lightning McQueen after a new generation of technologically advanced racers begins dominating the Piston Cup. Sterling wants the veteran racer to regain competitiveness and protect the team’s commercial value.

Fillion’s voice performance gives Sterling a polished, businesslike manner. The character is a major figure in the film’s conflict between established racing traditions and data-driven modern training methods.

Cars 3 was released in 2017 and returned the series to a more personal sports-drama focus after Cars 2’s international spy story. Sterling’s plans lead McQueen to train with Cruz Ramirez, whose role eventually becomes central to the film’s conclusion.
