Which actor provided the voice of Mr. Bean in the animated television series?

Rowan Atkinson provided Mr. Bean’s voice in Mr. Bean: The Animated Series.

Atkinson originated the character in the live-action television programme and continued the role in the animated adaptation. The animated Bean communicates through short vocal sounds, expressions, and physical reactions rather than conventional long conversations, preserving the character’s mostly visual style.

The animated series expanded the world around Bean with recurring characters such as his landlady Mrs. Wicket and her cat Scrapper. It also allowed the character to appear in situations that would have been more difficult or expensive to stage with live actors.

Although the animation has a broader cast and cartoon setting, Atkinson’s involvement connects it directly to the original performance. Other actors supplied voices for supporting characters, but Atkinson remained the voice of Mr. Bean.
