Which actor plays Mother's Milk?

The story behind the answer

Laz Alonso plays Mother's Milk in the television series The Boys. His character's full name is Marvin T. Milk, and he is usually called M.M. or Mother's Milk.

Alonso is a Cuban-American actor from Washington, D.C., born Lazaro Alonso in 1974. Before becoming part of The Boys, he appeared in films including Avatar, Fast & Furious, Jarhead, and Detroit. He also worked in investment banking after graduating from Howard University.

In the series, M.M. is a former Marine and battlefield medic who becomes the disciplined second-in-command of Billy Butcher's team. Unlike the comic-book version, television M.M. is an ordinary human rather than a naturally born Supe. His opposition to Vought is rooted in a childhood tragedy involving Soldier Boy and his family.

A common mix-up is confusing Alonso with the actors who play other members of the Boys: Tomer Capone plays Frenchie, Nathan Mitchell plays Black Noir, and Chace Crawford plays The Deep.
