Which actor plays Freddie Thorne in Peaky Blinders?

Iddo Goldberg plays Freddie Thorne in Peaky Blinders.

Freddie is introduced in the first series as a communist organiser, a First World War veteran and an old friend of Tommy Shelby. His political beliefs put him into conflict with the authorities, while his relationship with Ada Shelby connects him directly to the Shelby family.

Goldberg appears as Freddie across the first series, which premiered in 2013. A common mix-up is confusing the actor with Sam Neill, who plays Chief Inspector Chester Campbell, or Joe Cole, who plays Tommy’s brother John Shelby. Freddie’s wife Ada later becomes a major figure in the Shelby business and raises their son, Karl Thorne.
