Which actor plays conspiracy theorist Murray Bauman in "Stranger Things"?

Brett Gelman plays conspiracy theorist Murray Bauman in "Stranger Things." Murray is a former investigative journalist whose suspicions about Hawkins’ strange events eventually bring him into the center of the supernatural story.

Murray first appears in season 2 while investigating the disappearance of Barbara Holland and the suspicious circumstances surrounding Hawkins National Laboratory. His insistence that something larger is being hidden initially makes him seem eccentric, but his instincts are often correct. He later becomes an ally of Nancy Wheeler, Jonathan Byers, Joyce Byers, and Jim Hopper.

In season 3, Murray helps translate Russian communications and assists Hopper and Joyce in uncovering the Soviet operation beneath Starcourt Mall. His fluency in Russian, investigative instincts, and unexpectedly practical combat skills make him especially useful during the finale. In season 4, he travels with Joyce to Russia to help rescue Hopper and fights his way through the prison storyline.
