Robin Williams played the widowed father Daniel Hillard in the 1993 film Mrs. Doubtfire.

Directed by Chris Columbus, the comedy follows Daniel Hillard after his divorce from Miranda, played by Sally Field. To spend more time with his children, Daniel disguises himself as an older Scottish housekeeper and applies for a job in his former family home.

The disguise leads to the character Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire. Williams performed the role through voice, physical comedy and rapid changes between Daniel’s identities, making the film one of his best-known family comedies.
