Denholm Elliott played Marcus Brody in Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Elliott's Marcus Brody is Indiana Jones's scholarly colleague and loyal friend. In Raiders of the Lost Ark, released in 1981, Brody is a museum curator who helps secure the Ark of the Covenant for the United States government. He also provides comic contrast to the film's globe-trotting action.

Elliott returned as Brody in The Last Crusade, released in 1989.
