Christian Bale played Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. Bale portrayed the billionaire heir and masked vigilante across Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.

The trilogy presents Bruce Wayne as a traumatized man who turns his family fortune, physical training, and detective skills toward fighting organized crime and corruption in Gotham City.
