Ragtime won four awards at the 2026 Tony Awards.
The revival was one of the season’s strongest performers, collecting honors across performance, design, direction, and sound categories. Its wins included Best Revival of a Musical, Best Actor in a Musical for Joshua Henry, Best Actress in a Musical for Caissie Levy, and Best Sound Design of a Musical for Kai Harada.
Ragtime is based on E. L. Doctorow’s 1975 novel and features a score by Stephen Flaherty with lyrics by Lynn Ahrens. The musical first reached Broadway in 1998 and returned in a new production during the 2025–26 season.
The four-award total placed Ragtime in a tie for the ceremony’s highest production tally, alongside The Lost Boys, Schmigadoon!, and Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman. The latter won six awards, the night’s overall high.
