The Lost Boys received Best Lighting Design of a Musical at the 2026 Tony Awards for Jen Schriever and Michael Arden.
The award recognized the lighting work created for The Lost Boys, one of the original musicals competing during the 2025–26 Broadway season. Lighting design helps establish location, mood, focus, rhythm, and visual transitions in a stage production.
The Lost Boys also won two acting awards: Ali Louis Bourzgui received Featured Actor in a Musical, and Shoshana Bean received Featured Actress in a Musical. The show was tied with Schmigadoon! for the most nominations, with 12 each.
The category is specifically for musicals. Best Lighting Design of a Play went to Jack Knowles for Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, making the two awards distinct despite their similar names.
