Which 2026 Tony Honors recipient was recognized as Jake Bell?

Jake Bell was one of the recipients of the 2026 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre.

The Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre recognize important contributions that may not fit the ceremony’s competitive award categories. In 2026, the honor went to the 1/52 Project, Jake Bell, Kenn Lubin, and Loren Plotkin.

These honors highlight the broad range of people and initiatives that support Broadway and the wider theatre community. Unlike performance, design, and production awards, the recognition is not limited to a single show or artistic category.

Jake Bell’s honor was presented alongside three other 2026 recipients. The award should not be confused with the Special Tony Award, which went to the League of Resident Theatres, or the Regional Theatre Tony Award, which went to American Players Theatre.
