Where was British Dragon's Den investor Deborah Meaden born?

British Dragon's Den investor Deborah Meaden was born in Taunton, Somerset.

Meaden is a British businesswoman and investor who became one of the programme's best-known Dragons. She was born in Taunton and later grew up in Essex, a detail that can cause confusion when biographies mention both places in accounts of her early life.

Before joining Dragon's Den, Meaden built experience in leisure, retail and property-related businesses. Her investments and television appearances made her especially associated with consumer brands, hospitality and commercially focused companies.

The question asks for her birthplace rather than the place where she was raised or where she built her career. Taunton is the specific town recorded in biographical references, while Somerset is the county. Meaden joined Dragon's Den in series 3, several years after the programme began.
