Where is the Dragons' Den studio complex located in Scotland?

The story behind the answer

The Dragons' Den studio complex in Scotland is located at Pacific Quay in Glasgow.

Pacific Quay is a media and regeneration district on the south bank of the River Clyde. It contains BBC Scotland's television facilities, making it a significant production location for programmes made in Scotland, including Dragons' Den.

The location is often described simply as Glasgow, but Pacific Quay is the more specific answer. It is not the same as the city’s historic shipyards, Leith in Edinburgh or the Clydebank area farther west. Those places are geographically related to Scotland's industrial and media history but are not the studio location asked about here.

The complex's use for television production reflects the programme's BBC Scotland production base. Studio location should not be confused with the fictional or theatrical idea of a den: the pitches are filmed in a professional broadcast facility.
