The British television show Dragon's Den has been filmed in Salford since moving to MediaCityUK.
MediaCityUK is a mixed-use development at Salford Quays in Greater Manchester. The BBC became a major tenant there after relocating substantial operations from London, and the site includes studios used for television production.
The location can cause confusion because Salford and Manchester are part of the same metropolitan area, and MediaCityUK is often casually described as being in Manchester. Its official local-government location is Salford. The answer therefore names the city rather than the wider county or metropolitan region.
Dragon's Den previously used other production locations, including Pinewood Studios. The move to MediaCityUK connected the programme with the BBC's northern broadcasting centre and a large concentration of studios, production companies and media facilities.
