Where does the grown up Josh rent a room in the movie "Big"?

In Big, the grown-up Josh rents a room in Manhattan. After the Zoltar machine transforms 13-year-old Josh Baskin into an adult, he and his friend Billy travel from New Jersey to New York City to search for the machine and reverse the wish.

Unable to find Zoltar, Josh needs somewhere to stay while waiting for information about traveling carnivals. He initially rents a cheap room in a run-down hotel or flophouse in Manhattan.
