When did Pokémon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin expansion release?

Pokémon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin expansion released on August 5, 2026. It is Part 1 of the game’s three-part paid Expansion Pass.

Bubbly Basin adds an underwater town to explore, along with additional Pokémon and furniture. Access to the underwater area is connected to the new Dive move introduced in a free update, giving the expansion a distinct aquatic focus.

The date can be confused with the launch date of the main game, which was March 5, 2026. It also differs from the planned schedules for later Expansion Pass content: Part 2 was scheduled for winter 2026, while Part 3 was planned for 2027. The Expansion Pass is sold as one set purchase that grants access to all three parts as they become available.
