What were the names of the Doberman Pinschers on "Magnum P.I."?

The Doberman Pinschers on “Magnum, P.I.” were named Zeus and Apollo. They were Jonathan Higgins’s fiercely loyal guard dogs at Robin Masters’s Hawaiian estate, Robin’s Nest, and were often called “the lads.”

Zeus and Apollo helped define the estate’s security—and supplied many comic moments whenever Thomas Magnum crossed Higgins or took liberties with the property. Higgins could command them to patrol the grounds, and their imposing presence made them a memorable part of the original series, which aired from 1980 to 1988.
