The 2017 Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra was valued at $2 million.
Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro wore the bra during the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which was recorded in Shanghai. It was the centerpiece of the show’s “Nomadic Adventure” segment and was paired with an elaborate jeweled runway look.
The Champagne Nights design was created by Lebanese jeweler Mouawad. Reports described it as featuring champagne-colored diamonds, blue sapphires, yellow sapphires and other precious stones set in 18-karat gold. The complete ensemble reportedly contained more than 6,000 gemstones and required hundreds of hours of work.
The value can be confused with prices attached to earlier Fantasy Bras. The 2013 Royal Fantasy Bra, for example, was listed at $10 million, while the 2016 Bright Night Fantasy Bra was valued at $3 million. Champagne Nights therefore sits among the lower-priced recent designs despite its extensive gemwork.
