Evie Frye was the twin sister who became an Assassin in Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Evie and her twin brother Jacob are playable protagonists in the 2015 game. They travel to London in 1868, during the Industrial Revolution, and work to weaken Templar control over the city. Evie is portrayed as methodical and particularly skilled in stealth, while Jacob is more impulsive and focused on direct action.
The siblings establish the Rooks, a street gang that helps them challenge the rival Blighters. Their campaign takes them through districts including Whitechapel, the City of London, Westminster, and Southwark.
Jacob is Evie’s brother, not her alternative identity. Lydia Frye is a later descendant who appears in the downloadable mission “The Dreadful Crimes” setting’s broader timeline and in World War I-era material. Rebecca Crane is a modern-day Assassin and a completely different character.
