The magazine that serialized Tesla’s autobiography “My Inventions” was Electrical Experimenter. Tesla’s first-person account appeared as a six-part series in 1919, when he was 63 years old. The articles covered his childhood, early experiments, discovery of the rotating magnetic field, development of the Tesla coil, and ideas about wireless transmission.

The series ran in the February through June issues, with the final part appearing in October. Electrical Experimenter was an American technical magazine edited by Hugo Gernsback, an important early publisher of radio and science writing. Tesla contributed several articles to it during the late 1910s.

The material was later collected and edited into book form as My Inventions: The Autobiography of Nikola Tesla.
