What was the name of the Japanese programme that originated the Dragon's Den format?

The story behind the answer

Money Tigers was the Japanese programme that originated the Dragon's Den format.

The format was created in Japan as Money Tigers, known there as Money no Tora. Entrepreneurs presented business proposals to a panel of successful investors and sought funding in return for an ownership stake.

The concept was later adapted for television markets around the world. The British version adopted the Dragon's Den title and its own panel, presentation style and production details, while retaining the central idea of entrepreneurs negotiating with wealthy investors.

The Japanese title is often confused with Dragons' Den itself because the international adaptations use different names. Shark Tank is another related adaptation in the United States, but it is not the original Japanese programme.
