The fictional language J.R.R. Tolkien developed for the Valar in his mythology is called Valarin.
Valarin is the language associated with the Valar, the powerful spiritual beings who shape and govern the world of Arda. Tolkien described it as strange and difficult for the Elves to understand, although some Valarin words entered Quenya.
The language is part of Tolkien's larger historical layering of invented tongues. Quenya developed among the Elves of Valinor and was influenced by contact with Valarin, while Sindarin became the major Elvish language of Beleriand and later Middle-earth. The Black Speech, by contrast, was created by Sauron for his servants.
Valarin is not the same as Quenya, even though both are connected with Valinor. Tolkien left relatively little complete Valarin material compared with his extensive descriptions of Quenya and Sindarin, so it is best known through word lists and linguistic notes.
