What was the name of the company Peter Jones founded before becoming a Dragon on the UK programme Dragons' Den?

Peter Jones founded Phones International Group before becoming a Dragon on the UK programme Dragons' Den.

Phones International Group was a telecommunications business established by Jones in 1998. It operated in the mobile-phone sector at a time when cellular communications were expanding rapidly beyond specialist business users.

Jones later became known publicly through Dragons' Den, where he evaluates pitches involving ownership percentages, company valuations and growth plans. His wider business interests have included telecommunications, technology, media and leisure ventures.

Phones International Group is often mixed up with Carphone Warehouse or Phones 4u because all three names are associated with mobile-phone retail or distribution. They were separate businesses, however. The company name is also more precise than simply describing Jones as a mobile-phone entrepreneur, since it identifies the venture he founded before his television career became prominent.
