Rob Law's ride-on suitcase business pitched on the British show Dragon's Den was called Trunki.
Trunki is a children's ride-on luggage brand created by British designer and entrepreneur Rob Law. The product is a hard-shell suitcase shaped so that children can sit on it and ride or be pulled along while travelling.
Law presented the idea on Dragon's Den in 2006, but the Dragons did not invest. Despite the rejection, Trunki went on to become a well-known travel product and was sold internationally. Its story is often cited as an example of a business succeeding without a televised Dragon's Den deal.
The product is sometimes mistaken for an ordinary wheeled suitcase because it is designed for airports and other journeys. Its defining feature is the ride-on form, which distinguishes Trunki from conventional children's luggage.
