What was the name of Albert Einstein's son who suffered from schizophrenia?

The story behind the answer

Albert Einstein's son who suffered from schizophrenia was Eduard Einstein. Born in Zurich in 1910, Eduard was the younger of Einstein's two sons with his first wife, Mileva Marić.

Eduard showed strong academic and artistic interests and initially studied medicine with the ambition of becoming a psychiatrist. At about age 21, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. He spent much of his later life receiving care at Burghölzli, the psychiatric university hospital in Zurich.

His illness deeply affected the family. Eduard's mother cared for him until her death in 1948, while his father, who had emigrated to the United States, maintained correspondence with him but did not see him again after the early 1930s. Eduard remained interested in music, poetry, and art, and died in Zurich in 1965. The other son, Hans Albert, became an engineer, which is the key distinction between the two brothers in this question.
