What was the first Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass area called?

The story behind the answer

Bubbly Basin was the first Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass area.

Pokopia received a paid three-part Expansion Pass, and Bubbly Basin was its first part. It released in August 2026, adding new content after the base game’s March launch. The expansion continues Pokopia’s focus on exploration, environmental restoration, Pokémon habitats, and decorative construction.

The Expansion Pass is separate from the original game’s launch content. The base version already included 300 Pokémon from Generations I through IX, while later downloadable content expanded the game with additional areas and features. Bubbly Basin is therefore the name of the first expansion section, not the name of the main world or the Kanto setting.

The remaining two parts were scheduled for late 2026 and 2027. This makes the release order important: Bubbly Basin came first, while the later parts were not the initial Expansion Pass area. The name also should not be confused with a general biome label used for the base game.
