What TV series did the NHL launch in 2013 to highlight the lives of key players?

The NHL launched NHL Revealed in 2013 to spotlight the lives and careers of prominent hockey players. Its full title was NHL Revealed: A Season Like No Other.

Announced on November 18, 2013, the seven-part documentary series followed more than two dozen NHL stars during the 2013–14 season. Cameras captured players preparing for regular-season games, the inaugural 2014 Stadium Series, the Heritage Classic, and the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Featured players included Sidney Crosby, Jonathan Toews, Patrick Kane, Daniel and Henrik Sedin, John Tavares, Henrik Lundqvist, and Jonathan Quick. The program aired on NBCSN in the United States and CBC in Canada, beginning in January 2014.

A common mix-up is confusing NHL Revealed with later hockey docuseries such as Faceoff: Inside the NHL or the NHL’s 24/7 programs. Those shows also offer behind-the-scenes access, but NHL Revealed specifically refers to this seven-part 2013–14 project.
