Kassandra's eagle companion in Assassin's Creed Odyssey is named Ikaros.
Ikaros is a golden eagle who assists Kassandra by scouting locations from the air. The bird can identify enemies, supplies, objectives, and points of interest, extending the player's ability to survey the ancient Greek world.
Odyssey is set during the Peloponnesian War in the fifth century BCE. Kassandra, or Alexios depending on the player's choice, is a descendant of King Leonidas I and becomes a central figure in the game's family and political story.
Ikaros is easy to confuse with animal companions from other entries. Senu belongs to Bayek in Origins, while Synin is associated with Eivor in Valhalla. The names reflect different reconnaissance systems used across the series.
