What special ability lets Ditto imitate a human in Pokémon Pokopia?

Ditto uses its Transform ability to imitate a human in Pokémon Pokopia.

The game’s central character is a Ditto that assumes a human-like appearance after finding its trainer’s old Pokédex. This transformation lets the player experience the world through a character designed for building, crafting, and interacting with Pokémon while still retaining Ditto’s identity.

Ditto’s transformation is more than a visual joke. It is the story reason the character can move through the abandoned world in a human-like role and begin rebuilding it. The player can also customize the transformed Ditto’s appearance, including skin color, hair color, and clothing.

A common mix-up is to answer “Imposter,” another Ditto-related term from Pokémon battle mechanics. In Pokémon Pokopia, the relevant canonical ability is Transform. “Mimic” is also a separate move associated with copying another Pokémon’s move, not the ability responsible for Ditto’s human imitation.
