What season number is the 2025 Hulu revival of King of the Hill?

The 2025 Hulu revival of King of the Hill is season 14.

Hulu’s continuation is officially numbered the fourteenth season, making it a revival of the original series rather than a separately titled reboot. It arrived on August 4, 2025, after the animated sitcom had been off the air for roughly 15 years.

The original King of the Hill debuted on Fox in 1997 and concluded its regular broadcast run with season 13. Season 14 resumes the story with an older Hank and Peggy Hill, who have returned to Arlen after spending years working in Saudi Arabia. Their son Bobby is now an adult pursuing work as a chef in Dallas.

Viewers sometimes call the Hulu production a “reboot” and assume it starts at season 1, but the official season numbering treats it as a continuation. It also should not be confused with season 13, whose original finale preceded the long time jump, or with later Hulu seasons that may receive separate numbers.
