What reality TV show starring Kim Kardashian debuted in October 2007?

The reality TV show starring Kim Kardashian that debuted in October 2007 was Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The series premiered on October 14, 2007, on the E! cable network and followed the blended Kardashian-Jenner family.

The original central cast included Kim, Kourtney, and Khloé Kardashian, along with their mother Kris Jenner, brother Rob, and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The program combined family arguments, business ventures, relationships, and lavish daily life into a highly serialized reality-TV format.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians became one of the defining celebrity shows of the 2000s and helped turn Kim Kardashian into a global media figure. It ran for 20 seasons before ending in 2021. A common mix-up is confusing it with The Kardashians, a later Hulu series that premiered in 2022; the 2007 show used the longer original title.
