Rob Law pitched Trunki on Dragons' Den as a ride-on suitcase for children.
Trunki is a hard-shell children's suitcase designed so that young travellers can sit on it and ride while being pulled through airports or other travel spaces. Law developed the idea after working on an earlier ride-on hand-luggage concept.
The product became one of the best-known British designs associated with Dragons' Den. Although Law's televised pitch did not result in an investment deal, Trunki went on to become a successful travel-product brand.
Trunki is often confused with Tangle Teezer because both are frequently mentioned in lists of notable Dragons' Den businesses. They are unrelated: Trunki is a children's travel product, while Tangle Teezer is a hairbrush created by Shaun Pulfrey.
