Rob Law pitched Trunki on Dragon's Den.
Trunki is a ride-on children's suitcase designed by British inventor and entrepreneur Rob Law. Law presented the product on Dragon's Den while seeking investment to develop and market the idea. The brightly coloured case was designed to let children sit on it and pull or ride it while travelling.
The pitch became notable because the dragons did not invest. Despite the rejection, Trunki later became a successful travel-product brand and was sold in many countries. Its story is often used to illustrate that a televised refusal does not necessarily determine a product's commercial future.
The product is sometimes described simply as a ride-on suitcase, but Trunki is the specific brand name asked for here. It should not be confused with other children's travel products or with a generic suitcase category.
