Jordan Daykin presented GripIt Fixings when he became the youngest person to receive investment on the British programme Dragons' Den.
GripIt Fixings makes wall-fixing products designed to support heavy items in plasterboard. Daykin appeared on Dragons' Den as a young entrepreneur and secured investment for the business, attracting attention because of his age as well as the practical nature of the invention.
The product is not a general-purpose screw or a brand of decorating material. GripIt’s fixing system was developed to address the problem of securely mounting objects on plasterboard, where ordinary fixings may fail under load.
Daykin is sometimes confused with other young contestants or with entrepreneurs whose products were rejected after appearing on the programme. The notable record concerns receiving investment, and the business name associated with that deal is GripIt Fixings.
