Squirtle is easy to confuse with other Water-type Pokémon because the wider series contains many aquatic species. In Pokopia’s plot, however, the dehydrated Pokémon specifically identified in the story is Squirtle, the Water-type Tiny Turtle Pokémon from Generation I.
