What nickname does the powerless Pikachu use in Pokémon Pokopia?

The powerless Pikachu in Pokémon Pokopia is nicknamed Peakychu.

Peakychu is a special Pikachu encountered during Pokopia’s habitat-restoration story. Unlike the usual image of Pikachu as a Pokémon able to generate electricity, this character has lost that ability. The difference gives the encounter a restoration-focused twist: Pokopia often presents Pokémon with unusual circumstances that the player must understand while rebuilding the world.

The nickname “Peakychu” distinguishes this individual from ordinary Pikachu. It is one of several named special Pokémon in the game, alongside characters such as Smearguru, Mosslax, Chef Dente, DJ Rotom, and Tinkmaster.

Pikachu is the series mascot and an Electric-type Pokémon, so its inability to produce electricity is especially notable. The character therefore illustrates how Pokopia adapts familiar Pokémon traits into story details rather than using every species only in its standard role.
