The special Snorlax in Pokémon Pokopia is called Mosslax.
Mosslax earned its name because it slept for so long that moss and other plants grew over its body. The character is one of several special Pokémon encountered as Ditto restores habitats and brings life back to the abandoned landscape.
The name combines the familiar Snorlax identity with the overgrown appearance that distinguishes this individual. It is not a new evolution, regional form, or separate species in the standard Pokémon taxonomy.
Mosslax belongs to a wider group of unusual Pokopia characters. Peakychu is a Pikachu that has lost its electrical ability, Smearguru is a gifted painter based on Smeargle, and Chef Dente is a Greedent associated with a former chef trainer. Their traits support the game's community-building story.
