The Lamborghini Huracán Performante has a top speed of 325 km/h. That figure belongs to the high-performance LP 640-4 version of the Huracán, introduced in 2017 as a more powerful and track-focused derivative of Lamborghini’s V10 sports car.
The Performante uses a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 producing 640 PS, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. Its performance was not achieved through engine power alone: Lamborghini reduced weight with forged-aluminum and forged-carbon components and developed the ALA, or Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva, active-aerodynamics system.
ALA adjusts aerodynamic flaps in the front splitter and rear wing. It can reduce drag on straights while increasing downforce in corners, helping the car reach its claimed maximum speed and improve lap performance. Lamborghini also gave the Performante revised suspension, steering, brakes and exhaust hardware.
A common mix-up is confusing the 325 km/h figure with the standard Huracán’s published maximum speed or with acceleration figures. The Performante’s Nürburgring achievement is a separate fact: its widely reported lap was 6:52.01, not its top-speed measurement.
