What is the title of the final game in Ezio Auditore's trilogy?

The story behind the answer

Assassin's Creed Revelations is the final game in Ezio Auditore's trilogy.

Ubisoft released Revelations in 2011. The game follows an older Ezio as he travels to Constantinople, now Istanbul, to locate keys connected to Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's memories and the Masyaf library. Ezio's search also brings him into contact with the Ottoman succession struggle.

The title concludes Ezio's main game storyline while also returning to Altaïr, the protagonist of the original Assassin's Creed. This connection gives the game a bridging role between the two characters and closes several long-running narrative threads.

Assassin's Creed II begins Ezio's story, and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood continues it in Rome. Assassin's Creed Embers is a 2011 animated short film about Ezio's later life, not the third full game in the trilogy.
