The surname of Dragon's Den investor Sara Davies is Davies.
Sara Davies is a British entrepreneur who founded Crafter's Companion, a company serving the craft and papercraft market. She became a Dragon on the British television programme in 2019, bringing specialist experience in product development, direct selling and international retail.
Her business was inspired by a craft-related product idea developed while she was studying at university. Crafter's Companion grew into a substantial company supplying tools, materials and related products to crafters.
Davies is sometimes confused with other female Dragons because the panel has included Deborah Meaden, Kelly Hoppen, Jenny Campbell and Tej Lalvani. The surname Davies belongs specifically to Sara, while Meaden, Hoppen, Campbell and Lalvani are different investors.
