What is the opening song?

The opening song in Disney’s original The Lion King is “Circle of Life.” Its famous sunrise sequence begins with a Zulu chant by South African musician Lebo M, followed by the gathering of animals at Pride Rock for Simba’s presentation.

The song was written by Elton John, with lyrics by Tim Rice and musical contributions from Hans Zimmer.
