The Pikachu who lost its ability to generate electricity is nicknamed Peakychu in Pokémon Pokopia.
Peakychu is one of the special Pokémon encountered as Ditto restores habitats. The character is based on Pikachu but has a distinctive story detail: it can no longer produce electricity. That makes Peakychu different from the standard image of Pikachu as an electric powerhouse.
Pokopia includes several similarly memorable named characters. Smearguru is an exceptionally talented Smeargle, Mosslax is a Snorlax covered with moss and plants, Chef Dente is a Greedent connected to cooking, and DJ Rotom possesses a stereo system.
The nickname can be confused with ordinary Pikachu because Peakychu is still a Pikachu. The key distinction is that Peakychu is the named individual whose lost electrical ability is specifically described in the game’s plot.
