What is the name of the Zora princess in Ocarina of Time?

The story behind the answer

The Zora princess in Ocarina of Time is Princess Ruto.

Ruto is the royal daughter of the Zora, an aquatic people who live around Zora’s Domain and Zora’s Fountain. Link first encounters her after she has been swallowed by Lord Jabu-Jabu, the enormous guardian of the Zora. Her rescue becomes part of Link’s effort to recover the Zora’s Sapphire, one of the three Spiritual Stones.

Ruto is outspoken, determined, and notably independent. As a child, she gives Link the Zora’s Sapphire and treats it as an engagement token, although Link does not understand the situation in quite the same way. Seven years later, she becomes the Sage of Water and helps Link confront the danger within the Water Temple.

The other options refer to different characters or locations. Jabu-Jabu is the Zora’s guardian deity, while Mipha and Sidon are prominent Zora characters from Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Ruto belongs specifically to Ocarina of Time and is one of its best-known supporting characters.
